We invite you to take some time to learn about our unique
facility in southern Colorado and find out how you can enjoy
a truly incredible fishing experience along with a setting
surrounded with magnificent beauty.
Maria Lake is a 250-acre lake nestled in 2,200 acres of
southern Colorado majesty. The ranch is located 5
miles east of Walsenburg, Colorado. The lake is a one
hook / fly or lure, barbless and bait less fishing facility.
Live bait is not allowed.
Views of the Spanish Peaks and the Wet Mountains are second
only to the fish that you will catch at Maria Lake. It
is not uncommon to Catch and Release 10-20 fish per day that
average over 20 inches. We know this sounds like a
fish story, but check out the Photo Gallery and the
Testimonials for verification.

stocking of over 5,000 of Our Fish per year and owning the water rights for
over 100 years.
Every now and then, you will hook a really big one - measuring 24 inches
or more. That will make you a member of our
